Our newest little princess was born this afternoon at 12:22pm, she is 19 3/4" long and weighs 8lbs/2oz. She is so precious! It's amazing how quickly you can fall in love with someone! She is another blessing from God! We thank Him for giving her to us to love and cherish!

Matthew has spent this week in Vacation Bible School~Avalanch Ranch. Lots of crafts and new tunes! He had a little program this morning to top off the week--it was cute! Mary is getting ready for the 4th of July...she loves her headband! She even thinks that she is funny when she is wearing it!

Warm Spring Day!

Matthew has been in Vacation Bible School all week, so this has given Andrew, Mary and myself some good time together before Katharine's arrival.
Mary got her first official tattoo a few days ago, but the "ink" must have not been set before we applied sunscreen as it managed to wash away...she has a new graphic on her forearm~a clown, which she loves to show off!

Just had to take a few more belly photos before there is no more belly! Mary likes to use it as her pillow but it's getting rather firm these days so it doesn't seem to offer her much comfort! The end is finally in sight for Miss Katharine's entrance. If she is not here on her own, she will officially be evicted on June 19th. We are hoping that she is here earlier, the Doctor plans to do an in-office procedure next week to help stimulate some movement "toward the light"...who knows, she could be here much sooner than planned!

Either way, she'll be here real soon...that's great news for me so I have a few days to recover before we celebrate Andrew's 8th birthday!

Cousin Jon came to visit us while he is in town on business. It was great to see him...Mary finally warmed up to him, obviously not for this picture but she gave him a few of her smiles!

Memorial Day weekend

We went to the Arboretum yesterday and today. Yesterday we were rained out, can you believe that not a drop fell at our house and we are less than 10 minutes away? Needless to say, we decided to go back today, pack a picnic and go on the trails with the kids. It started to rain a little this afternoon, after Mary posed near the roses (isn't she just the cutest thing in the world?) and since she didn't go to the pool today with the boys, she played outside in the rain--I think that she had a good time!

After dinner we played outdoors a little. Daddy is turning her into a ballplayer! She had to have her sweatband on her forehead JUST IN CASE she broke a sweat! Daddy wanted a profile snapshot of me by our roses...I swear that I don't look this bad everyday! I decided to not dry/curl my hair after my shower this afternoon, that's my excuse!!

Mary's first fish!

Dad took the day off early so we could take little Miss Mary to the Farmstead. She posed for a few pictures with her folks and went fishing with her Daddy...can you believe that she caught her first fish within a few minutes of sinking the worm? Is that beginners luck or what?

A Mother's Day weekend

Ellen's school choir participated in singing the National Anthem for Saturday's Brigade (arena football) game. We had prime seats (10 rows from the roof) so we had a great opportunity to see which one she was on the field! Ha!ha! The team looked good~they won 60-41!
