We're back from the Rocky Mountains...

we had a great time. The weather was unseasonably cold, but the company was fantastic and overall, it was a G R E A T trip! We saw deer, elk, Ginger the bunny, Elvis the snake, chipmunks, mountains, SNOW, waterfalls and CO wildflowers. We hiked, swam, played football, cooked s'mores, bbq'ed, (some) rode ponies, took LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of pictures, hung out and overall stayed pretty busy!

Mother's Day

...I'm very thankful to be considered a mom. I know that I don't say it often enough, but if it were not by the grace of God, I would not have been blessed 4 times! Like most moms, I tend to wear multiple hats (chauffeur, maid, chef, tutor, etc...) and can even do many of those while multi-tasking! My kids are only young once and each day they get a little older. I'm grateful that we had this day together, making another memory as a family. I complained about the weather but today I was not bothered by the boys bickering, Mary and Matthew duking it out, disrespectful habits while eating etc... and just enjoyed my day~my day with my kids. Thank you to everyone for the calls, cards and gifts! I too hope that you had a great Mother's Day!

Here are the boys. Raisin (top left) is spoken for as well as one of the other ones. There are still 2 left...we hope to have new homes for them in the next few weeks! But until then, we can continue to spoil them and let them be our lap dogs!

The storm that we had...we had 1 3/4" of rain!

Mary was playing rather quietly in my bathroom while I took the puppies outside...should have known that she'd be up to something! She painted her nails! What a fine job she did, huh? No mess on the carpet or her clothes! I'm impressed with her skills!
