We had some of the family over for a birthday celebration for one of the many uncles in our group! Not only did we enjoy a great afternoon, but we also enjoyed a lot of food thanks to Ester!

Katie turned 1 month old on July 19th. We didn't have a big party and if we did, she would have slept through it anyway! Her sleeping pattern at night has been great; now if we could only get her to bed before 10pm we'd be in a perfect world! Granted she isn't up the entire evening, but for some reason, she likes to have her bed time "nummies" between 9-1opm! Things could be worse so we're not complaining.

Mary is very fond of her little sister and in fact, will often cry if you try to take her "sissy" away from her when she is holding her.

Everyone else is adjusting quite nicely to the newest addition...big relief for us!

Katie likes to be outside like her big sis! She was relaxing in her bouncey and hanging out with her Mom!

Katie is just shy of being 4 weeks old. We've worked through the days and nights being mixed up and she is having more waking moments throughout the day. She has been experiencing a little gas pains so we've resolved to Mylacon Drops...great relief for us but it's not her favorite thing in the world to take! Otherwise, Katie is a fantastic baby!!!

Mommy was taking pictures of Katie today...she was a good baby for her. She is already back to sleep! It sure is rough being the "model"...

She could not get enough of "sissy time" with her! I might have myself a little helper on my hands! That would be a good thing! She helped me give Katie a bath today, I'm not sure who enjoyed it more...Katie or Mary!

Katie was Baptized on a very special day...July 7, 2007 (07/07/07)...what a beautiful day it was! We had a little party for her following the service. Katie didn't cry at all! She met some family members but she has many more to meet!

It has been quite the month being able to spend some time with our family from Texas. With the arrival of Katie, the excitement of the 4th of July, our trip to JC and the Baptism of my cute little sister..we've had a lot of fun! The kids stayed busy with trips to the pool, playing tennis, watching Andrew's (MANY) baseball games, going to a waterpark, enjoying all the festivities of the Sundown Salute on the 4th, going to meet the Head Football Coach at KSU, celebrating Katie's Baptism and hanging out with our families on both Mommy's and Daddy's side.
