Little man lost one of his top front teeth...the tooth fairy brought him a nice note and $3!

Katie and Matthew: Katie had been sick with a fever for over a week and after numerous doctor visits, she was finally put on an antibiotic and treated for a bladder infection...YEAH! our little girl is on the mend!!

It's the end of the day...

and we're exhausted! Mary took a power nap and woke up cranky :-( but quickly bounced back once the cake came out! She had a blast opening up her presents! She was spoiled to death! A new camera (watch out world!), barbies, clothes, coloring stuff (and lots of it!), and a big baby doll!

I think Mary is getting real tired of all the pictures that I want to take of her. You only have your birthday once so I'm going to snap away all day long! :-)

We took Mary to Build A Bear on Sunday so she could pick out a bear and make a new "lovey"...she found the cutest, softest little bear in the whole store. We are calling her new friend "Beary Bear"...something easy for all of us to remember!

We're having a small party at home tonight once the kids get home from school. All of her presents are stashed for now or else she'll have opened them up first thing.

We went to see the Washington Generals play the Harlem Globetrotters. What fun! I'm not sure who actually won the game as we left before the game finished but it looked as if the Generals were putting a beating on the Trotters! The girls did amazingly well considering the game was near bedtime. The boys might have learned some new tricks to share on the court...who knows!

Mary wore pigtails today...she just had to have her picture taken!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We celebrated our Christmas here at home then made a quick trip to TX to bring in the New Year with our TX connection. I know all the kiddos had a blast regardless of how long it took us to travel with 4 kids and 4 dogs! It was so neat to see Lucy and Charlie reunite with their kids! The kids will head back to school on Monday. I'm sure they are not quite ready to go back since they've had a blast on their winter vacation.
