Katie the chimp

Katie with Dad's (stuffed animal, "Lucy"). Katie affectionally calls her "La La" rather than Lu Lu! It's sweet.

...well sort of! Some have speculated that her movements resemble some of our furry ancestors...why don't you watch and see for yourself

A month's worth of news

Mary at dance class.

The prize winning cookie. Made by Mary! Just for her to enjoy!

Mom & Dad with the little princesses!

After a hot day of football! A special guest (Louie Aguilar) came to cheer on the Cardinals. He brought with him signed Chiefs memorabilia. Andrew was in HEAVEN!

At the pumpkin patch...it was soo much fun!

Kids getting ready for Halloween. My little ladybug was in hiding due to Skull Warrior! She wanted nothing to do with taking a picture when she saw Matthew!

A quick visit from Great Grandma! She spent 5 days with us...it was fun!

No words are necessary!

------------------------------------
Sorry for the absense. Life has been rather hectic with going to football and soccer practices and games, Mary's dance classes and playing with our friends. School is off to a great start~conferences have started with teachers reporting excellent work by the kids! Halloween is just around the corner. We played dress up today so I could snap some photos...I tried my best but little Miss Katie did not want to cooperate.
Hope that you're doing well. Take care!

The girls...out cutie pies!
no other explanation needed!

It was a Chuck E Cheese day for us. Mary is officially potty trained. YEAH!!! She was motivated by a trip to Chuck E Cheese so we were happy to accomodate! We had a blast. Although it takes a small investment to have fun while eating pizza there now~

YUCK! This poor guy jumped into the window well and Andrew saved the day! He captured it and released it. Hopefully he found his way back to the pond. This guy was HUGE!

It was a perfect morning for playing outside at our local "farm". Once again, Mary was excited about feeding the goats, riding the tractors and playing on the swingset!

This is NOT child abuse, I promise!

I am not a bad mom, I just managed to be at the right place at the right time, I suppose...I promise!

I didn't run to help her because I was waiting for her reaction before I responded. I swear!

Katie has some MMMOOOOVVVEEESS!

Katie has started to show us some of her moves! She may not be able to walk yet, but she sure has some rhythmn! Watch her go! Oh, she also discovered how to climb in the rocking chair all by herself today. I've only witnessed her fall out of it once! Yea! Little missy is starting to blossom! She will be 15 months old on the 19th!

Mary's 1st Dance Class

...introducing Miss Mary Margaret...future STAR, future entertainer!

She had her first dance class last night and surprised both Mom and Dad by her determination to learn something new! She was so serious as the instructor was demonstrating ballet and tap moves. She was a little reluctant to go into the dance studio but decided to give it a try. She was amazing. I believe that she is the youngest girl in her class. It was all worth it because they gave the students not only a balloon but a choice of a sweet treat! Yea!

Andrew's 1st taste of football

L-E-T-S G-O, let's go let's go, L-E-T-S G-O, LET'S GO!
Andrew had his scrimmage against the 3rd and 5th graders last night. He played a variety of positions some of which he wasn't fond of! He was a bit nervous for his first experience but he performed well. He even tackled a 5th grader! He was so proud of himself as was his mom!

Keep your eye on #33

The blog has been on the back burner for almost a month. We've managed to stay busy and now since school is in session, schedules are even crazier for a while. I am enjoying the days with the girls while the boys are at school. This gives me more one on one time. The kids have all started activities and we plan to enroll Mary in her first ever dance class! I think we are more excited about it than she is although she sure does like the ballet slippers and tap shoes! I'm sure that I've left something out but this has already taken 1/2 hour to manage and I have to go get the boys from school. Enjoy the photos. Don't forget to sign the guestbook! Love to you all! (Except B-Randon...you know who you are!) :-)

We took a trip to Wisconsin for our summer finale to visit aunts, grandparents, cousins and one of the coolest uncles EVER! Everyone had a blast! It was so much fun for all. The kids enjoyed swimming daily and often, fishing, boating, playing in the bounce house, watching SPROUT, walks, trips to the Piggly Wiggly, food and treats!

Finally...haircuts! The boys haven't seen the inside of a salon since our Texas trip in March! Ha! Ha! I told them that I'd allow for them to grow their hair out for the summer but we would have to clean it up for school. Andrew's hair is still a bit too long but we'll wait for the principal to tell us to get his hair cut! He's such a rebel!

"Grammer" comes for a visit and her hair turns green! Mary enjoyed playing dress up with her and decorating her with lots of Elmo stickers too!

It's ICECREAM time! Yeah!!!!

We spotted a cow in our backyard, crazy huh? The dogs were relentless with their barking and I had to figure out why! The kids thought that was pretty cool. Miscellaneous photos of the girls.

The first day of school! They were pretty excited to be there, especially Mary! She'll be in preschool soon enough!

Andrew had his 1st football practice EVER in his career! No more backyard football with his brother. He's moving up to the big leagues! Pads, helmets, uniform! He was so excited to have his practice uniform on for the 1st time. Had to capture his excitement!

Mary and Katie posing for an outdoor picture session. Okay, Katie wasn't really cooperating but we are all known to have our bad day(s)....right? Katie showing us proudly that she's "1"! Yea!

A small video of Katie showing off...taken today (8/26).
