A day at the Farmstead

Our first trip to the Farmstead...Mary did NOT like the baby goats--she couldn't get back into her daddy's arms quick enough! The boys found a cow that they could "milk", Mary played in the water and posed on a saddle. We actually had one of our warmest days so far this year! The Farmstead was packed with lots of little ones...this will be a nice place to go this summer with all the kiddos!

Can the belly get any bigger???

Mary and Mom...she just loves her baby sister! I wonder what she'll think of her when she is finally here! We've got the countdown going...she should be here in the next 7-9 weeks!!! Still have yet to put her room together! That's not our fault though! We wanted to have it done, but unfortunately we are waiting for the screws for her crib!! Long story to share some other day!
Enjoy the tummy photo!

Andrew's First Communion

Andrew had his First Holy Communion yesterday. He was sick and out of school on Friday so we weren't too sure if he'd be able to participate, but he woke up on Saturday morning with little aches and pains, was fever free, had an appetite and most importantly...he was no longer needing his "bucket"! There were 75+ kids going through the Sacrament, there was not an open seat in the church, the girls were beautiful in their dresses and the boys looked handsome in their suits! I forgot to bring my kleenex just in case I needed to wipe a tear or two away...thankfully other Moms in the crowd had plenty to spare! We had a nice relaxing afternoon with our family and friends. The weather was perfect to eat outdoors and the kids could play!

Merry Christmas...oh wait, it's not Christmas...it's supposed to be
S P R I N G. Have you ever seen snow showers in April in KS? This is the first for me! Matthew enjoyed playing in the snow this morning and making a snow man--you have to look fast before it melts away.
The picture of Mary is of her on her 15 month birthday. She is doing the "sign" for "MORE"...Charilie is chewing on her boa. Guess he thinks that is his toy and not hers! Mary is growing leaps and bounds these days! She is 22 lbs and was 30 1/4" long. She had 2 shots when we went for her well-baby check. Daddy gets to take her next time...she cried and cried and cried!
Andrew is getting ready for his 1st Communion...we are so excited!!! Hopefully we'll have nicer weather next weekend since we'll have family in town and plan to have a little party to honor him!
Hugs to all!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! The Easter Bunny came while we were sleeping~he even left bunny tracks through the house! He left a note but said that he wasn't going to leave the eggs outside because of how cold it was so we'll have an egg hunt a little later today when the temps go up!
We started our day by going to mass at 7:30am! Everyone looked so nice and pretty!
Mommy is cooking a real nice "linner" (that's lunch/dinner) for us to eat once my brothers get back from visiting with their grandparents in Nebraska.
Mom promises to put more pictures out here today with new photos of my brothers.
Look at Mommy's tummy....it's growing!! My little sister is over 29 weeks old! Only 11 more weeks to go (if not sooner) before we all get to meet her!
We all hope that you have a Blessed Easter and sing Alleluia for our Saviour, Jesus Christ!

A trip to see the Easter Bunny...

Was not what Mary had in mind! She started to cry, I mean SCREAM when she had to sit on his lap! She wouldn't even say "bye bye" when the torture was over! It's amazing how blonde her hair looks when her face is beet red! Maybe next year she'll be a little happier when she sees him!

3D Sonogram

Meet the newest member to our family...she's still on the "inside" so you'll have to be patient until her official arrival. The pregnancy has been going along without any complications but I still have 12 weeks left! If you have problems figuring out the images, send us an email.

Happy St. Patrick's Day "ya'll"!

Shelby and Shelly celebrating St. Pat's Day in downtown Forth Worth.
Some real cowboys and Sherrif with Mary, Matthew, Andrew, Sophie, Rachel, Aunt Shelby, Megan and Uncle Tony!
HI!!! I'm having fun---but my Mom has kept me in the stroller for 3 hours!!! It's time for me to get out and play!

I'm reading now! Aren't I beautiful in my new specs?

St. Pat's Parade

What a great day for a parade. The clouds rolled in but it was a nice day to be outside and watch the festivities. Mary had a hard time since we tried to keep her in her stroller; ever since she found her walking shoes she loves to walk, walk, and walk some more! The kids were able to come home with a bag of candy and we even managed to walk away with some coupons for some free food! We'll take all the hand outs we can get! :-) Matthew found his way to the restroom on someone nice, large tree (I just knew that he couldn't hold it while the parade was going on!) We saw lots of dogs (Brookside is a dog friendly neighborhood). Enjoy the photos!

Sonogram photo

Hello! We had a sonogram on Friday and once again we were able to see the little peanut growing! She was bouncing around in there but everything looked real good. At 25 weeks, she was 1lb/13oz and is week ahead of schedule! Just wanted to share with you!

We can finally play outside!

We finally had a day that we could play outside. It was mid-50s so we bundled up in our light jackets and hats, went for a walk then played outside. This was Mary's first time playing outdoors since she could walk. We need to get her some shoes now since she's mobile! She loved checking out the scenery. We are due for warmer temps this week (above average) with cooler weather coming this weekend. Love you all!

Kodak moments

We've had some fun taking pictures of the the furry babies and Mary Margaret! Mary was having a blast in the bathtub...if you look real hard you can see her 3 teeth!

Monday, February 12, 2007

Mary was having a great time hanging out with her family and showing us her smiles! The dogs even got some love too!

We are hunkering down for yet another blast of Old Man Winter....like we haven't already had enough of him! More snow tonight into tomorrow. Doubt school will be cancelled, this is old hat for the kids by now! I think most parents know how to drive in the snow. Send us some warm thoughts...

Love you!

The many faces of Mary Margaret

In the bathtub having fun! Mommy put in a barret in my hair...I guess it was okay, I didn't pull it out! Smiling for the camera and look at my chicklets! WOW! They are B I G!!! Mommy said that it's about time time to give up nursing! I wonder why she says that!!! :-)

Kansas snowfall

We had another weekend of bitterly cold temps and wet weather. Mommy bundled me up and put in the snow so I could play. I didn't really do much other than look at my snowman that Daddy made for me and let the doggies lick my nose! Maybe next winter I'll actually make a snow angel?

I'm one!

Life sure is fun being one! Can you believe that my Mommy & Daddy let me eat cake with my hands and make a mess??? I'm not sure if who made a bigger mess~my siblings or myself!
I was spoiled beyond belief on my 1st birthday!
